Anita Archer, Ph.D.



Thursday's keynote speaker is Anita Archer, Ph.D. Dr. Archer is an educational consultant to school districts on explicit instruction, the design and delivery of instruction, behavior management, and literacy instruction. Dr. Archer has served on the faculties of San Diego State University, the University of Washington in Seattle, and the University of Oregon in Eugene. She is national known for her professional development activities, having presented in every state over the course of her 40-year career.

Eva Trumbower, M.S., CCC-SLP



Friday's keynote speaker is Eva Trumbower, M.S., CCC-SLP. Ms. Trumbower is a speech-language pathologist whose 40 years of practice and teaching includes work in public and private schools and preschools, Head Start programs, medical settings, university clinical programs, private practice, grant implementation, and professional development for state and national professional groups. The connections linking oral language, literacy, and academic success, and application of research to teaching have been areas of special interest and instruction during her career. She is an author of the second edition of the Emerging Language and Literacy Curriculum preschool curriculum and is a consultant to the Center for Family Policy and Research, Institute for Professional Development, University of Missouri-Columbia.
